Demonstrates that Epithalon induces telomerase activity and telomere elongation in human somatic cells in vitro. This is one of the few studies showing telomerase activation in human cells by a peptide, providing direct mechanistic evidence for Epithalon's anti-aging properties at the cellular level.

Key Findings

1

Epithalon induced telomerase activity in human fetal fibroblasts

2

Telomere elongation observed after Epithalon treatment

3

Effect observed in somatic cells that normally lack telomerase activity

4

Dose-dependent response in telomerase activation

5

Suggests potential for cellular lifespan extension

Methodology

In vitro study using human fetal fibroblast cell lines. Telomerase activity measured by TRAP assay; telomere length by Southern blot analysis.

Limitations

In vitro data only; in vivo telomere dynamics in humans not yet demonstrated. Cell line may not represent all somatic cell types.
